gwen gray, q.c.
Gwen Gray, Q.C. has practiced in the area of labour, employment and human rights law since 1979. Gwen was Chairperson of the Saskatchewan Labour Relations Board from August, 1997 to August, 2003. She was Vice-Chairperson of the Labour Relations Board from 1995 to 1997. Gwen was an associate with Chivers, Greckol and Kanee from 1992 to 1994 and returned to the firm in 2003, becoming a partner in 2004.
Gwen has undergraduate degrees in sociology and law from the University of Saskatchewan and a Masters degree in law from Cornell University. She was awarded the University of Saskatchewan Gold medal in 1975 as the outstanding graduate at Fall Convocation and a Gold Medal as outstanding law graduate in 1978. She has acted as counsel for trade unions in Saskatchewan and Alberta. She received her Queen’s Counsel designation in Saskatchewan in 2001.
Gwen plays soccer in her spare time.
