Olivia Brosch
Olivia received her Juris Doctor, with distinction, from the University of Alberta in 2024.
During law school, Olivia served as President of the Environmental Law Students Association. As President, she collaborated with colleagues to organize events aimed at raising awareness on environmental legal issues. Olivia also volunteered with Student Legal Services providing legal information to the low-income community.
Throughout her legal education, Olivia developed a passion for social justice and human rights work. She joined Chivers Carpenter as an associate in 2025.
Outside of work, Olivia spends much of her time dancing. She has competed on semiprofessional dance teams and choreographed pieces for the stage. Olivia most frequently trains in the style of vogue femme, a form of movement originated from ballroom, a subculture founded by transgender people of colour in Harlem, New York. She volunteers with Yeg Ballroom, a community organization with a focus on growing the ballroom scene in Edmonton and providing free sessions for queer and gender diverse youth.
