
Lee Klippenstein
Lee practices labour, employment, administrative, and human rights law.
Lee received his Juris Doctor, with Distinction, from the University of Alberta. He then clerked at the Court of King’s Bench before finishing his articles in the litigation, labour, and employment department of a regional, full-service firm in Edmonton. Lee Joined Chivers Carpenter as an associate in 2025.
During law school, Lee received the 2020 Merv Leitch QC prize in Constitutional Law and a 2021 PBSC Chief Justice Richard Wagner award, amongst others. He has worked as a volunteer contributor to the Centre for Public Legal Education’s Law Now magazine, volunteered with Edmonton Community Legal Centre, served as a researcher with the Centre for Constitutional studies, and was a board member of the Alberta Law Review.
In his free time, Lee enjoys playing music and building Lego with his son.
