Celeste Kwok
Celeste joined Chivers Carpenter as an associate in 2025. She practices labour, employment, and human rights law.
Celeste earned her law degree from the University of Alberta. During her studies, she advocated for youth in the criminal justice system with the Youth Restorative Action Project. In her final year of law school, Celeste also enjoyed volunteering with the Human Rights Project of Student Legal Services and competing in the National Client Consultation Competition in Ontario. In 2023, Celeste completed a semester abroad where she conducted legal research for the South Australian Law Reform Institute.
Celeste articled and subsequently practiced with a full-service boutique firm in downtown Edmonton. She has appeared independently before various levels of Court and administrative tribunals.
Celeste offers her unique background in Criminology and Restorative Justice to her practice at Chivers. She is committed to understanding all perspectives in workplace disputes and strives to deliver fair, cost-effective resolutions with warmth and compassion. Celeste has also published resources on employment law through the Legal Education Society of Alberta.
